SMILE (Small to Medium Italian League of Enterprises) is an initiative initiated and led by COM.IT.ES for the Italian-South African business community, with the Italian South African Chamber of Trade and Industries playing a supportive role in the project. The primary objective of SMILE is to unite all Italian businesses and professionals within a shared network.

Over the last two years, COM.IT.ES and the Chamber meticulously compiled the names and details of Italian enterprises in South Africa, creating an exhaustive database that stands as the most comprehensive list of Italian-South African businesses to date.

The inception of SMILE traces back to the initiative commissioned by COM.IT.ES Johannesburg. Subsequently, the project’s scope was extended to encompass the entirety of South Africa, organizing nationwide events in Kwa-Zulu Natal and the Western Cape.

SMILE is aimed at including:

• Companies in SA with Headquarters in Italy
• Company Owners and independent Professionals of Italian origin
• Importers of Italian Products
• South Africans with Business interests in Italy
