Job Description: We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Brand Ambassador to represent Alessi in Johannesburg. As a Brand Ambassador, you will play a crucial role in promoting the Alessi brand, engaging with customers, and building lasting relationships within the industry. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to the growth and success of Alessi in the South African market.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a representative and advocate for the Alessi brand in Johannesburg.
- Engage with customers, both in-person and through digital channels, to create positive brand experiences and drive sales.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers, distributors, and industry influencers.
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide detailed information about Alessi’s range of products.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to provide valuable insights to the Alessi team.
- Assist with the coordination and execution of promotional events, trade shows, and product launches.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and implement effective brand strategies and campaigns.
- Monitor and report on market trends, customer feedback, and sales data to identify opportunities for growth.
- Provide exceptional customer service and handle any customer inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the brand ambassador program by sharing feedback, ideas, and suggestions.
Requirements:
- 25-45 years old, female, extrovert.
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in sales, marketing, or retail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and connect with diverse audiences.
- Passionate about design, art, and aesthetics with a good understanding of the housewares and kitchen utensil industry.
- Proficient in English.
- Speaking, reading and writing in Italian is required for the communication with Alessi in Italy and with Italian embassies around Africa.
- Eu passport is a benefit. Must be willing to travel.
- Strong networking skills with existing relationships within the industry considered a plus.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven individual with a genuine passion for promoting high-quality products.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and comfortable using digital platforms for communication and reporting.
