Position Summary:

The Sales Consultant will report to the Sales Manager and will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth within their assigned territory. This position requires a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with exceptional communication and negotiation skills. The Sales Consultant will play a vital role in expanding the customer base, maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  1. Sales Generation

The Sales Consultant will focus on outbound calls, including cold calling and warm lead follow-ups, to engage prospective students. They will employ consultative selling techniques to understand each prospect’s needs, offering tailored solutions that highlight the value of the company’s programs.

Managing a busy sales diary, they will balance telephone and MS Teams-based calls to maintain a consistent and productive outreach schedule. The role includes meticulous sales administration, ensuring accurate record-keeping and follow-up planning within the CRM system. With a clear focus on targets, the Sales Consultant will strive to exceed enrolment goals while delivering a high-quality experience for every prospective student.

2. Sales Action Planning

The Sales Consultant will collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans. They will contribute to optimising sales strategies by providing input on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback. Active participation in sales meetings, sharing insights and updates, and contributing to the overall sales strategy will be expected.

Accurate record-keeping of pipeline activities, lead and application interactions, and sales performance will be maintained by the Sales Consultant using CRM software or designated tools. They will prepare regular pipeline updates and forecasts for review by the Sales Manager. Through analysis of sales data, identifying trends, and providing recommendations for improvement, the Sales Consultant will contribute to enhancing sales performance.

Essential:

Fluent in English and Italian.
2 – 5 years sales experience or experience within a sales orientated/driven environment

Optional:

Degree/ Certification in a relevant field

Abilities/Skills/Knowledge:

Exceptional communication, email, telephonic and presentation skills
The ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and written.
Excellent computer skills
Ability to multi-task and work across multiple projects and clients
Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment
Strong negotiation skills and Cold Calling experience
Knowledge of CRM programs
Ability to create sales plans and recommend cost-effective sales practices
