We are a precision engineering workshop actively involved in the Automatic Packaging Machinery industry, currently looking to grow our team by adding a new Technical Service Technician
Position requires to inspect equipment or machinery and troubleshoot to diagnose the cause of an issue or malfunction. This usually involves questioning the users or employees about their recent observations.
It may require you to inspect or dismantle complex machines or pieces of equipment to check their components, determine if there are any noticeable issues and find solutions.
As a technician, locating the origin of the malfunction or fault is the first step you take when you receive complaints about equipment or machinery.
Technical Services Technician works closely with sales and product development teams to ensure that customer needs are met.
Job Description
*Delivering services to customers effectively and on time;
*Participating in assigned project on site, both nationally and internationally, as per management requirements.
*Monitoring and maintaining mechanical equipment and/ or machinery performance;
*Walking customers through how equipment works including how to use it safely;
*Explaining new features and suggesting upgrades to customers;
*Ordering and restocking materials when it is required;
*Participating in ongoing training to keep up to date with the latest developments in electrical engineering;
*Providing clear customer feedback;
*Leading or assisting with the support of projects, in agreement with Management guidelines and targets.
Requirements
- Technical / Professional college degree or 4-5 years practical experience
- Specific industry certification is considered a plus
- Own transportation
- Valid Passport
Role Definition
The Technical Service Technician performs activities related to manufacturing, installation, calibration, repair and maintenance of components and/or mechanical equipment.
The Technical Service Technician possesses technical knowledge necessary for interpreting technical design drawings and specifications.
The Technical Service Technician help design, install, develop, and manufacture tools, machines, engines, and other products or devices.
Role also require to test these devices, record and analyse data, and to report on findings.
Company reserves the right to review and expand assignment based on the production and manufacturing requirement.
Changes in role and responsibility will be discussed and agreed upon, before implementation, with reciprocal respect of Company’s interest and needs as well as Employee’s duties and responsibilities.
